Color Me Seductive

I was rummaging through my lingerie, looking for the perfect corset to wear under my outfit—I know, I know, corset? They are so not comfort-wear, that’s for sure, but oh, it’s worth the look of sheer delight on your lover’s face when the outerwear comes off and the underwear is sizzling. Bonus points if you wear garters and thigh-high stockings.

The go-to color for such lovely lingerie is black, but in this case, I thought it might set the wrong tone for the person I was wooing. Black is bold, a great statement if you’re the type who likes to take charge and be on top of the situation. But for that very reason, it can be a bit intimidating.

If you’re looking to ease into a night of naughtiness, you might choose cream, or a soft pink, or a muted lilac. I selected a dusty rose number that evoked a soothing sultriness. It had a calming, seductive effect—made all the more fun when I lashed my lover’s wrists with a silk scarf in a complementary floral pattern.

Oh, how I enjoyed watching those beautifully manicured hands, helplessly tethered to the bedframe, twitch in ecstasy as my tongue slid from neck on down, finding all the most joyful places to explore.
