For Tasty Foreplay, Try a Little Sugar on Top
I’m a sucker for chocolate. And caramel… and vanilla… and peach… Oh, honey (and yes, honey!), whatever color skin you come in, I’ve got a taste for it. Isn’t that the most delightful thing about being human? All the different hues we bring to the spectrum, a flavor to please every palate.
Sometimes, a little tongue in unexpected places teases the taste buds to a whole new level of fun. In my college days, I once engaged an earnest young freshman with Elvis Costello glasses in conversation at the library. Sitting next to him at a long wooden table, I took my flirting to the next level by finding his hand under the table and ever so slowly running my finger up, down, and around his… sliding from thumb to fingertip… to the next valley… then up again. Slowly, tantalizingly, I let my fingertips tell a tale of ecstasy while he sat stock still, mesmerized.
Finally, I brought his hand to my lips and slipped a finger in my mouth. In a raspy voice, he said, “Shall we go somewhere else?” And boy, did we ever. Four years his senior, I showed him how to take us somewhere delicious, my ecstasy heard well beyond his dorm room walls.
I had the occasion for such a tasty encounter again recently, this time with a little sugar on top. After my fingertips teased up a story of longing, I painted a picture of possibilities with chocolate sauce from stem to sternum. A dab of freshly whipped cream made for luscious licking—topped by savoring a well-placed cherry, of course.
